Map Screen
This is the main screen of the program, which you will be using most of the time. Most of the functions can be accessed by
tapping the Menu button.
(i) Information
- Use the Pocket PC or Laptop/UMPC/Car PC's left/right buttons to quickly switch
screens.
- Use the Pocket PC or Laptop/UMPC/Car PC's up/down buttons to zoom in and zoom out.
- Tap and drag the map screen to pan around the map, and then tap the red
"X" button to exit Panning mode and return to the Map screen.
- The car cursor changes color according to GPS signal status. Green indicates a
strong GPS signal. Yellow indicates insufficient GPS signal. Red indicates no GPS signal, grey indicates receiver is not connected.
- Tap the North arrow or Direction Arrow to toggle between the two displays.
- The next turn movement display at the top of the screen is only shown when a
destination has been entered and a route has been calculated.
- The Trip Status display will only show Speed (at 0 mph) when no destination has
been entered. With an active destination, Speed, ETA (estimated time of arrival), REM (remaining time) and DIST (distance to destination) will
be displayed at bottom of the screen.
- Tap bottom of screen where current street name is displayed (in the example shown
below, tap on S KING ST) to view additional location info such as block info, city name,
and coordinates (when available).
- Tap bottom of screen where Trip Status box is displayed to switch off Full Screen
mode temporarily and show additional tools from task bar.
- Tap next turn movement arrow on upper left corner to hear voice instruction at any
time.
- Tap
to exit Current Location screen and go back to previous screen.
